Ms. Silvia (Mommy) is a former professional ballerina, a dance teacher & mentor, business professional, holds a bachelor's of Science in Dance Management and is a proud mother of 2 children.
Priscilla Nathan-Murphy is an accomplished dance educator, choreographer, and former professional dancer originally from Singapore. She received her classical ballet training under the Royal Academy of Dancing syllabi and is also trained in oriental dance mudras, modern dance, and jazz. She holds a teaching certification from the Royal Academy of Dance and a Teaching License Diploma from the British Association of Teachers of Dancing.
Ms. Nathan-Murphy began her professional dance career with The Rose Eberwein Dance Company in Singapore before joining Space Dance Theater as a soloist under the direction of James Clouser, former Artistic Director of Houston Ballet.
She was invited to join the faculty of Houston Ballet, where she dedicated over 30 years to teaching and program development. In 2004, she was appointed Principal of the Preschool, Lower School, and Pre-Professional Divisions. During her tenure, she choreographed and coached contemporary works for Prix de Lausanne participants and developed several innovative training programs for the institution.
Ms. Nathan-Murphy has been invited to serve as a director and guest teacher at several esteemed dance schools nationally & internationally. Her choreographic work has earned her the American National Choreographers Competition Award in Chicago, as well as multiple teacher recognition awards from the National Foundation for Advancement in the Arts. She has choreographed for Houston Ballet II, Houston Grand Opera, The Alley Theatre, Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, HSPVA, SODC, the Texas Contemporary Dance Festival, among many others.
Founder - Guest Artist - Teacher - Digital Designer
Ms Isabella (Me) is a current professional ballerina for Tulsa Ballet II, a Guest Artist for BPA performances, BPA resources founder, BPA Digital designer and a BPA dance teacher in our winter and summer dance programs. She is a proud graduate of Tulsa Ballet Trainee Program and holds an Associate Degree in Science.
